How do i check my Beatport sales?

Requesting it by mail, and we will send you a screen cap of beatport statemet of your sales.

And what about all the other stores ?

Here you'll have to wait til the end of the quarters (each 3 months). That's when you'll get payment and detailed sales of each store

Can i check my sales directly?

No, you can`t .

Will my content shows up under my label name?

Of course.

Diferential fee, what is that?

We decided to give you a diferential fee for Beatport, and for all the other stores. Because we know that beatport takes most of the sales on the market, so this way you can earn some more extra money. We will take you 20% for the Beatport distribution, and 40% for all the other stores.

How much will my label get from my sales?

-Beatport Fees Beatport charge for selling your music an amount equal to forty percent (40%) of any and all “Net Revenue” derived from sale of Masters.

-Beatport may charge an amount that not exeeds 6% in concept of “Allowed Expenses” of Gross Revenue derived from Label’s Content Files/Master(s), shall mean credit card transaction, electronic commerce processing, royalties and content transmission fees payable to or retained by unaffiliated third parties in connection with effecting a transaction or transmission, if any, including without limitation bandwidth and storage fees.

-Our distribution service for Beatport is: 20%

So here you can see it in an example:

Beatport sells 1000 u$d	+ 1000 u$d
Beatport takes 40% and 6% fee	- 460 u$d
=540.00 u$d	= 540 u$d
Miniatura Music charge 20%	- 20%
You’ll get 432.00 u$d	432.00 u$d

For the other stores is similar, but with 40% of miniatura music fee.

When will i have the money in my pockets?

Stores will compute sums due to the Label after the end of each calendar quarter during the Term, and will send us a quarterly statement accompanied with payment in the amount due within thirty (30) days after the end of each such calendar quarter.

From the day we recive the payment from stores ,a quarterly statement accompanied with payment will be sent to you in no more than 30-45 days.

But if you're label don't reach ($500.00 USD):

(a) in any quarter, payment shall be carried forward to the next accounting period in which Label’s share of Net Revenue exceeds such sum.; and

Beatport clause (b) in any two successive quarters, Beatport reserves the right to terminate the Term, at its sole discretion.

How early should I upload my releases?

Here we have diferential days also

- Beatport : 8 business days before of release date.

- All the rest: 3 weeks before release date

How i upload my releases?

You'll have to upload twice.

1 for beatport ftp

1 for all the others

What file formats do i have to upload?

Tracks :	Wav 16bits 44.1khz stereo
logos & artwork:	at least 700px x 700px. (1000x1000is ideal)
info(tracks,artists,etc)	in a metadata xml sheet that we will give you

- Beatport.com Regulations (For Electronic Labels Only) Beatport.com is one of the most (if not the most) popular website dedicated to providing top quality dance downloads. With this said, the demand of the website from a label perspective has grown tremendously. Each label is responsible with providing top quality music as well as consistent marketing. Below are some regulations if your label is approved by Beatport.com.

*Prior To the application process and for our consideration. In order for us to provide Beatport.com with a good partnership we will only provide those applications that meet the following criteria: - At least 6 releases mastered and ready to be delivered at this agreement date. - Myspace or website with samples of current or past releases, in addition subscriptions, good amount of public views of the site and music player track hits, and finally Marketing/promotional information displayed.

* Your label must be approved by Beatport in order for your music to show. Unfortunately, due to the high demand, not every label can be added to Beatport at any time. We will go forth and submit your label for approval at the end of the quarter in which you send us your application. Miniatura Music cannot legally guarantee that the label will be on exactly when you send the application and the application process may take an additional 45 days from the day we submit the application. Beatport will thoroughly review your application so it is important that all the information provided is clear and updated as this will directly affect the outcome of your label being accepted or not.

* Beatport Sales Quota If your label does not meet a quota of $500.00 gross per quarter, it will be reviewed and determined cut from the Beatport site. As a distributor we will invest resources to provide you with status of your label standing on a weekly quaterly basis. A label can do a lot to prevent this from happening and Miniatura Music provides tools, resources, and tips in marketing your releases to ensure that this does not happen.With this said, it all goes back to the music. All labels should focus HARD on artist and label development. Focus hard on what is working in the industry today and market the music effectively.

* Release consistently, but don’t flood the market! When being approved on Beatport as well as being with Miniatura Music, we ask labels to send us 2 releases a month as well as the release schedule for the subsequent 6 months . As a label, you can have more but please note that Beatport will only show 2 releases per label, per month (no more). Our other stores do not have this guideline thus, you can tell us specifically which release you’d like on Beatport. If you’d like all of your music on Beatport, then please group your releases for the month into two separate releases. This will ensure that all music is heard.
